Our Story
IN 1987 I established Fiber Arts Yarn Shop when my children were just 2, 4 and 6 years old. A stay-at-home mom, I needed to find something to do while raising my children. I resorted to: Knitting and Crocheting! A hobby that became so much more due to restricted times available to knit (mostly nap time!) During that time, my KNITTING MACHINE became invaluable.
The Yarn Shop kept growing..... through 5 progressively larger locations in Cape May Court House, West Cape May, and Northfield. In 2005, the shop eventually landed in the beautiful space Fiber Arts Yarn Shop occupied in Cape May at the end of the Washington Commons Shopping Mall.
Fast forward to February 2020, and after 33 years of strictly retail, we closed our Cape May Yarn Shop. I am now immersing myself in my first fiber addiction: Knitting Machines! We also offer online sales of the VERY BEST and FAVORITE Fibers and Accessories from our 33 years in retail ...... Hope you love them as much as I do, Jana Lynne
